How HabitQuest works

Five minutes to set up. About a minute a day after that.

See how it works

Under two minutes — the parent side, the child side, and everything in between.

No sound needed — captions are built in.

1

Set up your family

We ask about the food your family already eats, any allergies or dietary requirements, what your child enjoys doing, and what space you have at home. Around five minutes.

You never enter your child’s weight or height. We don’t ask, and we don’t want it.

2

Your daily plan appears

Each day you get one meal suggestion and one activity idea, chosen specifically for your family from a library of over 100 meals across 37 cuisines and 100+ activities.

Two or three options, not one instruction. You choose.

3

Your child gets their own version

Separate interface, age-appropriate content, their own Habit Cat companion. They get quests and food adventures rather than instructions.

Content is banded for ages 6–8, 8–10 and 10–12.

4

Habits build quietly

Small daily actions accumulate. Your child’s Habit Cat grows as they build streaks. You see progress in skills gained and things tried — never in pounds or kilograms.

The four areas we cover

Nutrition

Meal ideas and healthy swaps built around what your family already cooks.

Activity

Movement your child actually wants to do. No gym, no equipment needed.

Sleep

Simple bedtime routines that help the whole household rest better.

Confidence

Small wins and new skills that build genuine self-belief.

What we deliberately left out

No calorie counting. Counting calories with children is associated with disordered eating. We don’t do it.

No weight or BMI shown to children. Ever. This follows NICE and RCPCH guidance on avoiding weight-centred messaging with children.

No advertising. No ads, no data sold to third parties, no commercial partnerships that influence what your family sees.

No social features between children. No messaging, no friend requests, no way for a stranger to contact your child.
